As part of our commitment to enabling individuals to live better through sport, the SG60 ActiveSG Credit Top-Up initiative aims to encourage greater participation across Singapore's diverse communities during SG60. In the Budget 2025 statement, it was announced that from June 2025, Singaporeans and Permanent Residents will receive a one-off $100 top-up. Existing ActiveSG members will receive the $100 SG60 ActiveSG Credit Top-up. New ActiveSG members will receive $200 credits-- $100 credits from the existing new member incentive scheme implemented in 2014 and the $100 SG60 ActiveSG Credit Top-Up. These credits can be used for fees for ActiveSG facilities and to offset fees for ActiveSG programmes.
There is only 1 stationary bike and 1 elliptical machine in the gym. They segregated the male and female area. The female gym has more stationary bikes but only females can use them. The elliptical in the main gym is in poor condition.
View on GoogleThe gym has been great but just wondering if it is possible to bring back the mirror in the changing room? As it really helps us freshen up and feel good before heading out 😅🙏 Also, if can, could you consider adding a hip thrust machine? It would be such a great addition for leg and glute workouts! :)
View on GoogleStaff in the gym does not bother about the bags laying around in the gym. Management has not stepped in to rectify the issues. Feedback multiple times with no improvement.
View on GoogleThe ActiveSG Gym has always been a great option to maintain my exercise routine when in Singapore on my yearly visit. The expanded space allows for the machines and free weights to be spread out nicely and I appreciated the extra effort to create a cool vibe with neon lights and "green" walls. It still gets crowded but people are generally polite about sharing the machines.
View on GoogleThey need an updated and full rule list. What to wear, what not to wear. The current sign on the tv outside is unclear on what attire is not allowed. Gym staff also did not stop me from entering the place with my jeans but rather stopped me 6 hours into my workout (not an exaggeration). Though some gyms have different rules, I find this gym to be more relaxed and chill when it comes to the staff, unless they're new and go by the book. They allow weighted calisthenics even though some other gyms I've been to have stopped me from doing so. Unfortunately, the assisted pull up/dip machine is consistently broken every two weeks and more often than not, the machine that works your calves is always broken. They get fixed within a week but when staff are asked, they usually say a nut is loose or they're inspecting it for damage. I have always been asked to show my towel at other gyms but at this gym, I have never brought my towel at all and they don't really care. The only time I've ever brought a towel to this gym was when I did a 7a.m. to 10p.m. workout session and knew I'd be covered in sweat. Fortunately, I've never been caught without a towel nor been asked if I had a towel. Other than issues with the rules and staff of tthe gym, the community is usually very helpful and welcoming. I was doing weighted dips once and two buff guys were encouraging me to do a few more reps and I did get in those reps. I was also approached by a random stranger while doing leg extensions and he pushed me to my limit, doing half reps, full reps of a lower weight, finding my max, all in one set. Furthermore, the marsiling mall is within walking distance from the gym. This allows gym goers to get a bottle of water from there or get lunch there when they're done with their workout. There's also a 24/7 sheng siong there in case you came out of the gym and all the stalls were closed. My last point would be the amount of people that are there. Sometimes, the 'view gym capacity' isn't always accurate and doesn't tell you how much people are actually allowed in. Sometimes the place would look like a night bazaar, other times it would look 30% full. Yet, the current capacity on the app shows 100%. Not sure if this is the gym's fault or the app, but it's quite annoying.
