I started visiting the gym for personal training in May25. Shunde is very patient in understanding my condition and customizes the training according to my capabilities before gradually introducing new workouts. He is always attentive and checks for any discomfort after each session, adjusting the training program based on my current condition. His encouragement has helped me feel more confident in performing daily activities and has motivated me to “wake up” my sleeping muscles. He also taught me pain-relief techniques that I can practice on my own at a convenient time. I can feel my lower-body strength gradually improving. Although progress takes time, I can now able to walk more confidently. The gym is well equipped with all the necessary facilities, and it is clean and well maintained. Highly recommended!
View on GoogleI've been going to this gym since 2020. Initially to lose weight and fat. Over time. I took up PT with the owner, Soon Teck. Not only did he help me achieve my weight loss, he taught me the science behind different kinda goals and impact they have on each goal. Never did I imagine I would lift a 100kg deadlift but I did. And this is only possible cos of this grit and belief in me. A few yrs later, I sustained a complete meniscus tear on my knee. I lost alot of hope and thought I'll never be able to be the strong person again and all was lost. BUT again, Soon Teck helped me slowly but surely regain what I lost - my confidence, not just my strength. I'm not at my baseline yet but I believe I will get there cos I'm further than my injury and closer to my baseline. That's the power of having someone who believes in you. That's Soon Teck. He believes. More than a PT. I found a friend in him. Every session we have, we talk about everything under the sun. This makes working out so pleasant and fun. From the very first day, Shun De created a welcoming environment where I felt at ease. He always reminds me that fitness should be fun, and that energy is infectious. One of the things that really sets him apart is his philosophy of “pain-free training.” He puts great emphasis on proper form and technique, which not only builds strength but also minimizes the risk of injury. For someone like me—coming back to fitness after a long break since pre-Covid, with recurring lower back aches and muscle stiffness—this approach has been invaluable. Shun De took the time to understand my concerns and worked with me patiently to release tension and correct movements. Thanks to his expertise, I’ve been able to work out consistently without being held back by the aches and pains that used to follow my sessions. In just a few sessions, I noticed a huge improvement in mobility, recovery, and confidence. If you’re looking for a trainer who truly cares about your individual needs, pays attention to the details that matter, and makes every session both effective and enjoyable, I can’t recommend Shun De enough. He is not just a trainer, but also a motivator and guide who helps you build long-term, sustainable progress. The only “problem”? He’s so popular that finding a slot outside of the wee hours can be a challenge—but honestly, that’s just a testament to how good he is!
View on GoogleI've never been a gym person but was looking for a local friendly environment, and this definitely is the right place for me. I opted for PT and Shunde has been great. He is super-knowledgeable about all the relevant muscle groups but makes it fun and challenging at the same time. Helped me with a personalised program. I'd highly recommend joining the gym and PT for anyone who is new to it like me. Have been made to feel very welcome!!
