Gym trainer Gordon Ho has anger management issues, management should look into it further. 0 stars for iGYM who supports such behaviour.
View on GoogleNo frills albeit well equipped. The users here mainly keep to themselves and do not appear to pass judgement. You get what you pay for. Some tips after going there for about a year: As this is an underground bomb shelter, the signal is nonexistent. Connect to the wifi before you do anything, including scanning the entry QR code. The aircon units currently still work but feels less cooling of late. There is one aircon unit blowing hot air as well, which points to an urgent need for servicing. Toilets and showers are present but have a strange smell in them. I suggest you use your own toilet/shower at home before or after going down. If you are afraid of bugs, this place does see cockroaches crawling in from outside. I have not seen one in the gym area for more than half a year. You are much more likely to run into them around the toilet/exit area, however. The app can be slightly glitchy. Your check out may not register even though the electronic gate lets you out. In one case I was checked in for almost 60 hours and counting. The feedback option in the app also does not seem to be monitored despite having sent in about the check-out matter 3 times. You are better off calling them directly for a quicker response. Overall, this place needs to work on the speed of rectifying defects. Currently, the fastest thing I have seen fixed is the cable machine when it breaks, because there is only one of it. There is a toilet as well as a treadmill that has been under maintenance for several months and counting. Additionally, I have noticed many items on the shelves by the entrance unclaimed for months. This facility is a decent, economical place with hassle-free joining and membership systems. If you are not willing to overlook or work around some of the annoyances above however, you may want to look elsewhere. I will be more than willing to bump up the number of stars if this is addressed.
View on GoogleThis gym may not be perfect, but it offers great value for the price. You can either pay by the entry ($8 for the first hour, with an additional $0.50 for each extra 30 minutes) or opt for a monthly membership at $75. There’s no joining fee, which is a nice bonus. While the facility isn’t large, the crowd is usually manageable, with fewer than 10 users at any given time—likely due to its less accessible location if you don’t drive. If you can overlook occasional machine hoggers and slam-weight lifters, the gym is quite enjoyable. The equipment might not be the newest, but it’s well-maintained. Toilet ventilation could be further improved though. Overall, if you’re looking for an affordable and relatively quiet place to work out, this gym is a good choice.
View on GoogleReally convenient, pay per entry with very good and affordable pricing. Good business concept! Hope that it is sustainable!
View on GoogleSuper easy to pay per entry! And the gym-goers are mostly non-intimidating weightlifters who don't judge you or make you feel uncomfortable (unlike other larger gyms)! The app sometimes lags or doesn't open, but you can connect to their Wi-Fi and force quit the app, then start again. That should work!
