I love Lab & i’ve been a regular since 2023. I started with their Pilates & till date i think their pilates classes are still the toughest compared to many other studios. I usually go for Joan’s classes as she very good at form correction & she knows how to layer exercises for you based on your strength!
View on GoogleMy review is based on my first visit to LabX’s reformer class. Pros: 1. Instructor was extremely friendly and welcoming. She brought a lot of positive energy to a late night class. 2. Reformers are the newest and cleanest I’ve ever seen! 3. They’re reasonably priced on classpass. Cons (personal opinion): 1. The reformer studio was right next to the toilets and waiting area. The glass doors weren’t closed during the class session. It was quite distracting while trying to focus and hearing a lot of chatter coming from the toilet :/ and also seeing a lot of people stream by 2. The Reformer Signature class was stated to be applicable to beginners and intermediates. However I strongly believe it was more suitable for intermediates instead. The class was very fast paced without correction to form, which I believe would be fine if you’re already a seasoned practitioner. However it was challenging for beginners… There were pure beginners in the class and they definitely struggled - some even fell. The class was so fast paced that at times I had to look at what others were doing for guidance on how I should be positioning myself, because the instructor’s mic wasn’t clear and the instructions were coming too fast. I do see the appeal and may be back when I am a much more seasoned pilates goer.
View on GoogleBeautiful new space: always bright, clean, and spacious. The LabX classes are killer, it’s reformer Pilates on steroids. Five stars for all the instructors, especially Leandra for her positive vibes, clear instructions and soothing voice. 🙂↕️
View on GoogleTry LABX if you ever wanted pilates that feels like a full on gym session. With more emphasis on core and strength training this is alot more intense than your regular pilates. The slow burn is real on this for anyone looking to strengthen their core. If you like pilates but wanted a more intense workout version this is what you need.
View on GoogleI’ve been practicing Pilates for three years, and I recently tried a new studio. I was really impressed by how professional the instructor was. she guided the session with clear instructions and great attention to detail. One thing that stood out to me was the reformer machine. It was different from the ones I’ve used at other studios, and it seemed to have more advanced features, making the workout feel more effective and smooth. Overall, it was a great experience and I’m looking forward to going back!
