Good gym, price is cheap for the size of the gym and variation of machines, nothing super fancy or high tech but i prefer this, i spend hours talking to the trainers even though i have never done personal training, they are just all super nice kind people and all say hello etc, never had any issues with anything here and in my opinion the size and amount of things you get is a steal definitely recommend this gym
View on GoogleDecent place for the price. There are always better places but you will pay more. So compare apples to apples. If you need to engage a personal trainer, do consider Firdaus. He is professional and teaches you the right techniques (tempo, breathing, posture, etc) for you to maximise the effectiveness of your workout.
View on GoogleHave been a true fitness member since 2-3 years ago. Started off with the branch at Suntec before they moved here to Millenia Walk. It’s a great upgrade - in terms of space, lighting, arrangement of equipments and general environment. They have a comprehensive range of classes for you to select from as well - from spin to yoga to other resistance/strength building group classes. Personally only attended a few and they were all superb experiences. Instructors were energetic, fun and knowledgeable! All the training equipment are state-of-the-art I must say. You have everything you need here for all muscle groups - whether you are training for the next marathon, keeping fit or preparing for the bodybuilding competition few months later. They also have dedicated areas for stretching, free weights training. They even have an open space area for some tyre training in fresh air! Millenia Walk is only one of the few TFX gyms outside of Funan and Pacific Plaza. If you are looking to build some specific fitness goals through HIIT or sprints etc., you should check this amazing fitness playground out! Their fitness instructors are really dedicated and professional as well, with very experienced background. I would personally recommend Richard/Jeff. Place is convenient as well. Just located within Millenia Walk. 2mins walk from Promenade MRT. Parking available as well at the basement carpark. Membership rates are very decent and flexible. I do not have experience with the rest like Pure, Fitness First, Virgin, etc. so I cannot compare. But they will recommend a package based on your requirements. Bob will be more than happy to answer to your queries! ;) Overall hygiene is also top-notch. Hand sanitizers are easily found and the area is cleaned thoroughly after each gym session. Kudos to all service personnel for keeping all of us safe!
View on GoogleThe place is a dump. Slightly cheaper, 20%, but 40% worse than most clubs. Some employees are nice, and good looking. But their soul has left them. I’m assuming it’s because of the horrendous managment. Whom seem to be blind to what their gym looks like. Apparently rust is not visible to them. The 1970’s era equipment doesn’t hold up as you might think. As can be seen in the photos. Regarding convenience, in the whole place, there is only 1 nasty dirty drinking fountain in the middle of the bathroom in what looks like a closet. This 1 drinking fountain in a huge gym looks like something my dog would drink from (picture attached). I thought it was my lack of ability to find water fountains, but no, the whole gym, literally has only 1. I’ve never seen that. In ask the gyms I’ve been to in the world. China, Phillipines, Indonesia, Brazil, most of Europe. Even in Malabo, they understand that when you work out, you need to drink. But, they have vending machines, with plastic bottles, that are so good for environment. Perhaps managment can give out free plastic straws too. The towels used are older and more ratty than the equipment. The classes are decent, I haven’t done many, but the few I went into are fine. The instructors are good, but their equipment is a bit dated so you can’t really hear the instructor. No big deal. Be careful about being early on Sunday. They are super strict with allowing anyone in. Even though the place is open, people are there, music on, doors open, lights on. They won’t let you in a minute early. I’ve been there at 7:56am on Sunday morning, and they will refuse you. I’m not joking. It’s not like they supervise you on the equipment. Basically, the managment has treated the employees so bad, that they treat the customers worse. Unless you are buying extra personalized stuff. Don’t go here. Spend an extra 30$ a month, and go to just about any other gym. Don’t get rust on the towel, get a drink at a fountain of your choice, Use modern equipment, have a nice lounge etc etc. DON’T GO HERE. The picture of all of us standing outside is 7:58. Not allowed in. No joke.
View on GoogleBy far the best gym I've ever been in Singapore. The equipments are well arranged. Didn't join any classes but by the look at it, all are quite awesome. The energy level is high in each classes. Read quite a lot of 1 star comments, mostly are about the sales and marketing personnel. The facilities are really good, you have VIP locker room (if you are a lifetime member), VIP lounge with massage chairs, sofa and coffee machines… all are FOC. OK, maybe already paid for… haha. Understand that it might get crowded during peak hours… but all the gyms are crowded during peak hours. If you want an empty gym, try Friday late evening and early hours on Sunday. Happy gyming~
