All remaining True Yoga Fitness locations in Taiwan were abruptly suspended in September 2025. According to news reports, this follows the closure of a separate branch in June 2025 and is under investigation by local authorities. Recent closures In late September 2025, True Yoga Fitness announced the immediate, temporary suspension of its remaining six outlets in Taipei, New Taipei City, and Taoyuan. The announcement, made via a Facebook post, cited "internal operational adjustments and staffing changes" as the reason. Authorities have launched an investigation into potential violations of consumer protection laws because the company did not give customers at least 24 hours' notice. This came after another branch in Taipei closed in June 2025 due to an expired lease.

During my initial visit at their outlet, I was told by the in-charge, Mr James Hang the public can try their fitness centre with no obligations by paying a monthly subscription fee of $154.66. On 4th Oct 2023, contacted Mr. James Hang via WhatApp to terminate the membership. All communications are on record with evidences. On 1st September 2025, contact the outlet after realising their organisation had been dedicating the monthly membership fee of $154.66 for more than 2 years after termination. I was then told at the Great World outlet counter staff, Mr James Hang had been posted to their Tampines outlet. Subsequently, I contacted and WhatsApp Mr James Hang and he claims was on medical leave and will get their Boss to look into the matter. On 1st Sept 2025, at about 5:52pm, I visited personally on my wheelchair at their help desk at Great World outlet to check on my termination status. I was suppressed to know Mr James Hang had deliberately updated wrong email address on the application form to cheat members and to deduct the membership fee from their debit card without their consent. During my visit, I was also told their organisation had been sending all invoices to the wrong email address. Subsequently I gave them the correct email to update the records on their systems. This is merely cheating the public and innocent prospective customers. I am contemplating to make a Police complaint for misrepresentation and cheating for public interest if the matter is not settled amicably. I met up with Mr Elston personally on my wheelchair and appealed to their organisation to refund all illegal transactions done on my debit card and settle the matter amicably. No response from their organisation on my feedback on this matter despite updating my email personally at their Great World outlet during my visit. I am posting this review for public awareness and public interest

The dumbbells are very disorganised, The numberings on the racks are so illogical and confusing Why is 18kg and 36kg next to each other? And why there are 18kg numbering on 2 different racks? Can they put all the 18kg in one same rack? Did the management lose some basic numerical skills? It is very upsetting when i wasted half of my gym time spent to find the correct weights The members themselves misplace them every single time, either they themselves are irresponsible, or the numberrings are confusing, or the management did not implement strict enough rules to up-keep the place We paid money to focus on gymming, not to spend time on finding the correct weights

My wife and me are member for almost 10 year with TF Tampines. That already say alot about this gym Staff is friendly and helpful. Most of the counter staff can address us by name. Good mix of Les Mills , Yoga and Spin classes with many outstanding instructors like AK, Eran , Debra and Sin Ming etc. All these make the workout enjoyable. Most important yield good result. TF Tampines has a good selection of gym equipement and free weight if you want to do own free weight training. Most importantly, pricing of the membership is attractive and affordable. Last but not least, a shout out to Mei Ling who is always there to help with some logistic issues. Thank you

Visited for 1 week trial, but experience was more average compared to other studios. It’s definitely a large studio with a gym, but here’s some reasons why my experience wasn’t the best: ✔️ Yoga and Pilates classes were actually okay. No issues with the class itself or the instructors! ✔️ Staff helps to clean the mats after each class! ✔️ Towels provided, small or large available. ✔️ Convenient location near Tampines ✖️Yoga studio was way too big, not the most conducive size (PS my picture is only a portion as I didn’t want to take pic of other students, but other ppl have posted full pic) ✖️It gets really noisy sometimes, loud music from another class and loud chattering from people walking past. But mostly the loud music. Not the best environment for yoga/pilates kind of class. ✖️Didn’t start the trial well as I was asked during the signup, if I knew what my plans were after the trial…? I was totally taken aback as I have not even attended any class to try out yet but ask about possible signup. Made me abit scared of possible pushy sales tactics but luckily none thus far. ✖️Booking only available 3 days in advance. Quite short compared to other studios
