Idk if you can call this a gym… it’s really small. Not well maintained, out of the ~10 machines, 2 were out of order. A lot of elderly people, no disrespect to them but elderly people hog machines a lot.
View on GoogleI am writing this review to highlight a very unpleasant experience with an ActiveSG staff member named Mr Lee on 15 December 2025 at around 9:20 PM. During the interaction, Mr Lee shouted at me repeatedly even though I spoke calmly and politely asked him not to raise his voice. Instead of de-escalating, he continued shouting. While speaking aggressively, he spit saliva towards me multiple times. I politely told him, “Please do not shout at me and please do not spit saliva at me.” Despite this, the behaviour continued. He also shouted at my mother and told her to “shut up”, even though she was merely having a normal conversation with another elderly lady. This happened several times and was completely unnecessary and disrespectful. Despite his behaviour, Mr Lee then accused me of being rude and made a personal remark saying that my mother did not teach me properly, even though I remained respectful throughout the encounter. Shouting at patrons, making personal insults, and displaying unhygienic behaviour is unprofessional and unacceptable for a staff member in a public facility. This experience left both my mother and me feeling uncomfortable and disrespected. I hope ActiveSG will take this feedback seriously and ensure staff communicate with members of the public in a respectful and professional manner.
View on Googlerabak leh this gym more like old ppl recreation centre. max dumbell wt is 15kg one pair only somemore, storeroom size location. good for quick workout only
View on GoogleFirst time here and was abit skeptical based on the review but overall was ok and manageable at 53%-75% capacity (based on activesg app). Limited machines for cardio and one pair of dumbell for each weight hence likely can't do long work out as need to share. For quick work out, you can consider as its located right below the multi storey carpark
View on GoogleI visited this gym because the one at Geylang Bahru was permanently closed. This is a shared venue with the elderly rehab and can probably only house 8-10 adults. Space is super limited, with the free weights area only enough for 1 (or 2) adults at max, with a pillar right in the middle. You have no space for warm up or cool down, no space to perform free weight exercises, dumbbells went up to 15KG only. I wanted to have a proper exercise but ended up leaving within 10 mins because there’s simply nothing to be done here.
