Barry's - Orchard Road

Loveeee the workouts here! Amazing for my attention span because you get to jump between stations. However, the front of house staff here are so uninterested and dismissive. It ruins the vibe. You go up to the counter and they say nothing but “what’s your last name”. What happened to good morning? Hello?

I tried both Barry’s studios in Singapore during a short layover and this is absolutely the better of the two. There is a nicer vibe and it ‘feels’ more like a Barry’s should in my opinion - and this is my experience of the concept in 6 countries now. The reason for 3 stars and not higher is the class format and the difficulty in understanding the instructor at certain times. The format was 8 very short rounds, which felt to me like too much time was wasted in switching and explaining.

As a guest, I wasn't sure what to expect walking into Barry's but from start to finish, the experience exceeded all expectations. Ria, the instructor, was incredibly welcoming and took the time to explain everything clearly before class, which made me feel totally at ease.The music, the red lighting, and atmosphere all somehow pushes you to give your best. I also really appreciated the clean facilities, friendly staff, and a smoothie bar that hit the spot after class.I’ll definitely be back!

I had a great experience at Barry's Orchard! The instructor and the class were both excellent, high energy and really motivating. The staff were also super friendly and took the time to clearly explain how the class works, which made it easy to feel comfortable even as a first-timer. Highly recommend!

cool gym, i loved the coaches they knew what they were doing. the managers at the reception were also very helpful, i loved the singapore x lululemon merchandises. highly recommend the studio!
