Training with Angela at EMPWR has truly been life changing for me. Before this I was just fumbling in the gym, pushing myself really hard, injuring myself repeatedly, while being confused and conflicted from all the advice I read online. Angela gave me structure, with a plan that actually fits my goals. Now I don’t have to worry about what to do, I just show up, do the work, and the results come. The biggest thing has been how she pushes me every session and never makes it feel impossible. She keeps an eye on my form, gives me relevant things to think about with regard to food and recovery, and holds me accountable in a way that is effective. This combination allows me to be consistent and makes training much more enjoyable. Since working with her I am significantly stronger and have an increased amount of muscle. I am also a lot more confident in my weight lifting! Every session is hard work but I feel accomplished every time I leave. Also, Angela is a blast to work with, so even tough sessions are fun. Training has shifted from feeling like a chore to something I look forward to every single week. If you want to crush your fitness goals, Angela’s the one. Best trainer I've ever had, hands down!

I feel way more sturdy in my body, I can sit comfortably through long workdays without back aches and I have more endurance to keep up with my little guy all afternoon. Additional plus, I feel that my concentration has never been sharper. On top of these quality-of-life improvements, I’ve gained noticeable muscle mass and confidence under the bar—most recently hitting a 75 kg Barbell Squat. Every session is thoughtfully designed to push my limits safely, and Angela’s encouragement has been invaluable. Every workout feels fresh and challenging (in a good way), and Angela always knows how to push me just enough without going overboard.
