With the growing number of residents in BP / Senja area, this gym is really too small to accommodate them. I think there needs to be double the amount of space + workout equipment to comfortably support the BP / Senja residents. Overall, still a good gym and well maintained, but its just way too small.
View on GoogleSmall gym , you know its super small when you need to wait 3 more people before you can use threadmill
View on GoogleThink fellow Bukit Panjang-ers are quite starved for choice. The one in nearest vicnity is extremely small and lacking in equipment, and the other higher paid option (AF) is equally as small and lacking (if not more so hahaha). Think something has to be relooked when you got half of the gym patronage sitting near the window waiting for a bench/ machine to open up. The other significantly better one is either in Bukit Gombak or CCK, which isn't exactly the most accessible from BP either. Think this has been a common sentiment among BP gym-goers for years now. As a concerned resident, please increase the size of the gym and bring in more equipment. I am sure there are vacant rooms in the CC that can accomodate this larger capacity demand. Also please do something about the toilets. Can't speak for the female but the male constantly smells of urine.
View on GoogleProbably the smallest active SG gym. But well maintained. Because it is so small, even when at 70 percent capacity, it just means that every single machine is in use, with queue of maximum two people each machine. Only two showers/changing room and single toilet but nice. Additional showers at badminton court side nearby if fully used. However, because it is so small, only one Smith machine so probably only good for those who mainly use machines.
View on GoogleVery nice view and friendly staff. Convenient location and clean female toilets But this gym is small. If you check real-time capacity on the website, you'll notice it is often 60+% full unlike most of other gyms. Therefore, there are very limited slots when it's not crowded, so you have to wait to use the machines. In addition, there's only one set of dumbbells. Other ActiveSG gyms are significantly further, while non-ActiveSG ones are significantly more expensive. There's some space in the Wellness centre nearby and in the Senja-Cashew CC itself. It would be better if they find a way to expand the gym to cater the needs of the neighbourhood.
